A former network wardrobe stylist alleged that the host had behaved inappropriately toward her nearly a decade ago.
Nearly three months after Ryan Seacrest was accused of sexual harassment by a former E! wardrobe stylist, the talk-show host appears to be in the clear. An investigation into the allegations conducted by the NBCUniversal-owned network was unable to find enough evidence to support the claims levied against Seacrest.
“E! has now concluded the investigation into allegations regarding Ryan Seacrest. The investigation, conducted by outside counsel, found insufficient evidence to support the claims against Seacrest and therefore could not be substantiated,” said the network in a statement. “E! is committed to providing a safe working environment where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.”
The accuser had alleged that Seacrest behaved inappropriately toward her during his tenure at E! News nearly a decade ago. The American Idol host chose to get ahead of the allegations before the stylist made them public, vehemently denying the claims and noting that he’d fully cooperate with the investigation in the matter at the network.
